NAIL & THREAD - MY LIFE AT THE ISOKON

The cool straight lines and fine architecture of the Isokon flats, my studio for many years, have complemented my desire to create eclectically. By using personal experiences, embroidery, collected ephemera and antique fabric the work demonstrates a need to make sense of our own realities whilst creating new forms and structures within clean solid lines. I dedicate these works to the often forgotten, trail blazing woman of the Bauhaus.
